BUSINESS OWNER - INGRID HALL
As a local author, I have a passion for creating exciting new worlds; a passion that stemmed from childhood where I spent many a happy hour hiding under the kitchen table dreaming up imaginative stories and characters. I started to think about today’s children and how for many, their childhood is so different from mine - how technology is increasingly in the driving seat instead of their imagination.
Scatterbrains stemmed from my desire to give kids that creative outlet, through a fun and wacky party that is both structured and educational. As a mum, I realised that my kids and their friends would have loved this kind of birthday party, and decided to brainstorm the concept with a close friend of mine, who as luck would have it is both an Early Years Lead and Assistant Head Teacher. With almost fifteen years specialist experience in Foundation and Early Years teaching, she is ideally placed to ensure that Scatterbrains consistently delivers an outstanding party experience, that will keep both parents and kids happy! Now, together with my team of like-minded Scatterbrainiacs, we are bringing a whole new approach to kid’s fancy dress parties and loving watching the imaginations' of children run wild and free!
In my life away from Scatterbrains I have spent most of my adulthood actively campaigning on a range of women's issues. I am the author of several books. I am married to the love of my life and have two children.
